I have always loved a good sourdough bread. Toasted. Sandwiched. Croutoned. Pretty much in any way. Then I began learning about the health benefits of sourdough and I was hooked all over again. On this page you will find everything you need to start a sourdough starter and begin using it. Sourdough 101 gives you a little information about what sourdough is and how to get going without a prepackaged starter. But sourdough is so much more than just bread. You can use your starter in ways that may surprise you. It certainly surprised me! So the recipe section has bread recipes, of course, but it also has some of my favorite ways to use sourdough. While all of the recipes are not a “true” sourdough, you can still reap some of the health benefits by using your starter.
